Spring semester is now in full swing. Traffic at the University is heavy as usual. Some students long await when school began and other are well, not so excited. CSULB has made parking on campus and getting around on campus more assessible than ever.
With the contract CSULB signed with the Long Beach Transit, students can now ride free althroughout long beach. CSULB has cheaper rates that two other local CSU's, Fullerton and Dominguez Hills. At Fullerton, it is eight-dollars for a day pass and one-hundred-sixty-two dollars for a Spring semester pass. CSULB boasts rates of one-hundred-twenty-three dollars for the entire semester.

A new option for student permits is the Academic Year Permit – available at the Parking Office in Lot 15 and at Brotman Hall Cashiers area for $246 and valid from Aug 23, 2008 to May 29, 2009.
